The Adelaide University Sharks is Adelaide’s gay and inclusive rugby union team providing the LGTBIQ community and allies the opportunity to be part of rugby union.

Everyone is welcome to play rugby. It is a sport welcoming all body types, cultures, religions, ethnicities and sexualities.

The Adelaide University Sharks play as the third grade team to our allies and hosts - Adelaide University RUFC in the Rugby Union South Australia competition.

The Adelaide University Sharks home and training ground is at Waite Campus on the corner of Fullarton Road and Claremont Avenue, Urrbrae.
Training is 6.30 pm until 8.00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday (commencing in 2020). Matches are Saturday during the rugby season.

In 2019, the Adelaide University Sharks will host rugby academies commencing in July hosted at Waite Campus on Monday evenings from 6.30 pm until 8.00 pm.
