Australia’s largest LGBTIQA+ basketball club has expanded to Sydney with a Sunday night competition in Glebe. Bushrangers Basketball's focus on inclusion has helped them rapidly expand, with Sydney joining already established teams in Melbourne, Brisbane and Darwin.

Bushrangers don't mind if you're yet to learn to catch or throw a ball, they just want you to come out and play. All members of the LGBTQIA+ community are welcome, especially allies. If you're seeking to be part of a team or community without the pressure of needing to make the shot - or you simply havent felt comfortable, Bushrangers are here for you. As the Bushrangers themselves say in their own words, "sometimes just turning up and trying something new is the win. Let’s celebrate that."

If you're in Sydney or know someone in Sydney that has fancied getting on the court and playing some ball after an isolation binge of The Last Dance on Netflix, head to Bushrangers Basketball's website at or email
